SRINAGAR: Northern Railway has revised the timings of several trains operating through Jammu and Kashmir, with changes to three services coming into effect from September 25 and two Katra-originating trains from November.
Train No. 74617, the Banihal-Badgam DMU, will reach Badgam at 7:00 pm instead of the existing 6:35 pm from September 25.
The timings of Train No. 74621, the Badgam-Baramulla DMU, have also been revised. It will depart Badgam at 7:15 pm instead of 7:00 pm and reach Baramulla at 8:10 pm instead of 7:55 pm.
Under the revised schedule, the train will reach Mazhom at 7:29 pm, Pattan at 7:38 pm, Hamre at 7:47 pm and Sopore at 7:55 pm.
The arrival and departure timings at these stations will be 7:29 pm and 7:30 pm at Mazhom, 7:38 pm and 7:39 pm at Pattan, 7:47 pm and 7:48 pm at Hamre, and 7:55 pm and 7:56 pm at Sopore.
The arrival time of Train No. 74620, the Baramulla-Sangaldan DMU, at Sangaldan will be revised from 6:55 pm to 7:20 pm from September 25.
Northern Railway has separately announced changes to two Katra-originating trains from November.
Train No. 12476, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Hapa Express, will depart Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan station at 10:04 am instead of 10:26 am from November 23. Its Jammu Tawi timings will be revised to 11:20 am arrival and 11:30 am departure, compared with the existing 11:25 am and 11:35 am.
At Martyr Captain Sunil Kr. Choudhary Kathua, the revised timings will be 12:28 pm arrival and 12:30 pm departure, while at Pathankot Cantt the train will arrive at 1:15 pm and depart at 1:20 pm.
The revised schedule for Train No. 12478, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Jamnagar Express, will take effect from November 29, with the same changes listed for Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan, Jammu Tawi, Martyr Captain Sunil Kr. Choudhary Kathua and Pathankot Cantt.
