Demanding immediate resignation of Agriculture Minister Gh Hassan Mir for his alleged role in ‘fund scam’, National Conference Additional General Secretary Dr. Mustafa Kamal Monday said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was likely to had taken up the issue with congress high command in New Delhi.
‘It is not proper for Chief Minster to put everything in public domain, but i am sure he might have taken up the matter with congress high command.’ Dr. Kamal told KNS. He lashed out at Congress for targeting him and said that it was unfortunate to see that congress was targeting him (Kamal) instead of giving attention to what has surfaced in last couple of days.
“A minster sent to cabinet by congress has been taking money to topple Omar Govt. They instead of looking into it are pointing fingers on me which is strange,’ said Kamal.
Meanwhile State Congress president Prof. Saif ud din Soz while regretting the recent verbal duel between the two senior party members Monday said that he was going to send a strong message to all leaders and workers that indiscipline in the party would not be tolerate at all.
‘Yes there has been some heated argument between the two senior leaders, but I am taking it seriously and all the leaders would be asked to maintain discipline.’ said SOZ.
