Omar

The opposition leader and ex-CM Omar Abdullah Monday said he wouldn’t be surprised if PDP shunned BJP to ally with Congress and independent MLAs.

Omar expressed his views on twitter, while responding to a tweet by his party spokesperson, Junaid Azim Mattu, who claimed, “Strong rumours about PDP’s imminent realignment with the Congress and some independent legislators. Would you be surprised?”

“After the Modi/Mufti accord where Mufti Sahib and his party are concerned nothing would surprise me Junaid,” Omar responded.

However, reports quoting the PDP spokesperson, Mehboob Beg has rubbished these claims, “This coalition will complete full term. He (Omar) should stop bothering about these issues.”
