A person was killed and another suffered injuries when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a Cart in Awantipora area of Pulwama district late last evening, police said on Monday.
Two persons Firdous Ahmad son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Beighpora Awantipora and Javid Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Banderpora Awantipora were seriously injured when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a Cart near Padgampora Awantipora.
The injured were immediately taken to Sub District hospital Pampore in critical conditions where the Pillion mate Javaid Ahmad succumbed to his injuries, while Firdous Ahmad was referred to Srinagar hospital. His condition is stated to be critical.
