One person died while four others were injured in three separate road accidents in Islamabad, Srinagar and Sopore while a house was damaged in fire in Srinagar, police said Thursday evening.

In Islamabad, 34 years old Fayaz Ahmad Wani son of Mohammad Ramzan Wani resident of Kuthair Islamabad was injured after he fell from a Tavera bearing registration number JK01M/5133 at Nowgam, Achabal.

The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.

In Srinagar, Ghulam Mohammad Dar son of Ghulam Qadir Dar resident of Panzinara slipped and was critically injured after he fell from a bus bearing registration number JK13/4011 at Parimpora.

The injured was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

In Sopore, a Tata-407 bearing registration number JK05-3778 turned turtle on Zindri link Road, Bomai, resulting in injuries to 02 passengers and driver of the vehicle.

All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a house was damaged in fire, police statement added.

Fire broke out in the residential house belonging to Showkat Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Mohammad Malik resident of Mandibal Nowshara Soura, Srinagar resulting in partial damage to the house.

Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.
