SRINAGAR
After remaining closed for three consecutive days, Srinagar-Jammau highway was Friday opened for the traffic.
The highway was closed due to heavy snowfall, on Monday evening.
Traffic police officials said that the highway was thrown open for one-side traffic today.
They added that vehicles from Jammu to Srinagar are being allowed to ply.
The officials said that BEACON personnel had to work round the clock to make the highway traffic able.
