As the State Unit of Bharatiya Janta party (BJP) has chalked out the roadmap for the developments of Jammu and Kashmir and has forwarded it to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that the Centre will provide a special employment package for the youth of the state.
One of the leaders of state unit of BJP told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the State leadership has submitted the proposal regarding the developments of Jammu and Kashmir to the Prime Minster Office.
“We have submitted the proposal to the PMO and it has assured us that they would do everything to strengthen the J&K and provide a fairer deal to the youth of the state to provide avenues for gainful employment,” one of the leaders of BJP said but refused to reveal details.
BJP’s State Secretary (Organization) and core group member Ashok Koul said that the state unit has sent the proposal to the PMO about the developments of Jammu and Kashmir.
“We have sent our proposal to the PMO before the Assembly elections. But because of the model code of conduct no progress took place in this regard,” he said and added that now the Prime Minister has assured to work on the proposal.
Meanwhile, sources claimed that there are about one lakh posts vacant in various departments of the state. “There are 70,000 to one lakh posts vacant with different government department in Jammu and Kashmir,” sources said.
Reliable sources said that the state BJP politicians who were felicitated in Ramlila Maidan on Saturday at a political rally in New Delhi, met Prime Minister and Party president Amit Shah and briefed them about the current political situation of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Modi in his brief chat told the leaders that it is our duty to bring the focus on the development of Jammu and Kashmir and to work for the common people of Jammu and Kashmir,” sources said and added PM also shows his concerns about the implementation of the centre relief to the flood victims.
