SRINAGAR: In the aftermath of the militant attack on tourists in Pahalgam, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has set up a round-the-clock emergency help desk at the Police Control Room in Anantnag to assist tourists in need of support or information.
The help desk has been established to provide timely assistance, coordinate rescue efforts where necessary, and offer verified updates to families and travellers affected by the incident. Authorities said the desk will function 24/7 until the situation stabilises and all necessary support has been extended to those impacted.
Tourists can reach the help desk through the following contact numbers: 9596777669 and 01932-225870. Additionally, a WhatsApp helpline has been activated at 9419051940 for messages and updates.
An emergency control room has been set up in Srinagar to assist those affected by the Pahalgam militant incident. The helpline numbers are 0194-2457543 and 0194-2483651, and Adil Fareed, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, can also be contacted directly at 7006058623 for any assistance.
Officials have urged tourists and their families to use these channels for accurate information and immediate assistance as the administration continues its response to the attack.
