SRINAGAR: The security forces have launched a massive anti-militant operation in the Pahalgam area following a militant attack in the Baisaran area on Tuesday.
In a post on X, LG Manoj Sinha said that an anti-militant operation has been launched to neutralise militants.

Militants attacked a group of tourists in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam with many casualties feared in the attack while official confirmation about death count is still awaited.
Following the attack, Home Minister Amit Shah left for Srinagar to hold urgent meeting with all security agencies. He also briefed PM Modi, who is on a visit to Saudi Arabia, over phone about the incident.
