In the backdrop of successful meeting between Prime Minister Naredndra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif in Russia and the united face presented by separatists in Kashmir, Pakistan Embassy in New Delhi has decided to organise Eid Milan on July 21, sources told KNS.

Reportedly separatist leaders from all the factions of Hurriyat Conference and other independent groups, members of Kashmir Bar Association, civil society and some prominent journalists have been invited for the event.

Pertinently, the separatists including Hurriyat (g) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani, Hurriyat (m) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik, Shabir Shah among others were also invited by the Pak Embassy for July 4 Iftaar Party which was cancelled at the eleventh hour.

Last time the Kashmir separatists visited Pakistan embassy was in August 2014 for a meeting with Pakistan ambassador to India ahead of proposed foreign secretary level talks, which were later cancelled by India.
