Clashes erupted in Pampore town of Pulwama district Friday noon after the news about the presence of a local militant trapped in Arwani encounter spread across the town. Reports said that rumours made rounds in the town that a local militant of Frestabal area was trapped in the encounter.

However, Kashmir Life couldn’t confirm whether any militant of Pampore was trapped in the encounter.
Reports said that youth came out on roads and started pelting stones on police and paramilitary forces.
Meanwhile, the shopkeepers have downed their shutters and the town shut in a matter of few minutes, local sources said.
