Panchayat members from Billawar Assembly segment Monday joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of party patron Mufti Mohamamd Sayeed.
Prominent among those who joined PDP included Ajit Singh, Sarpanch Chingi Makwal, Bharat Singh,chairman Panchayat Khaw, Munshi Ram, chairman Panchayat Chingi Makwal, Krishan Chand retired captain, Chingi Makwal, Prem Chand, Panch Chingi Makwal, Haji Yosuf, Sardari Lal Bharati, Mohammad Ajiz, Jai Ram Sharma, Sarpanch, Harsath along with hundreds of his supporters. These Panchayat members have joined PDP on the efforts of Sudesh Sapolia, zonal president of PDP Billawar. Mufti Mohammad Sayeed welcomed new entrants in the party and asked them to spread message of the party in every nook and corner of their respective areas. Choudhary Zulfikar, MLA Darhal, Surender Choudhary, state secretary PDP, Gurparshad, district president Kathua, Ganga Ram Sharma, district president Kathua rural were among those who were present on the occasion.
