Paras Health Srinagar inaugurates advanced Emergency Response services to strengthen critical care and improve life-saving intervention during the “golden hour” in the Kashmir Valley.

The upgraded system integrates rapid-response mechanisms, advanced medical technology, and specialised clinical teams, with a focus on improving survival rates during the “golden hour” — the crucial period immediately following a medical emergency when timely treatment is most effective.

Hospital officials said the initiative is designed to enhance emergency preparedness and align services with international standards of critical care.

Facility Director Dr Murtuza Habib said the development reflects the hospital’s commitment to providing prompt and high-quality emergency care to critically ill patients.

Senior Consultant and Head of Emergency Response Dr Wasil Rasool Sheikh said the upgraded system will improve the management of complex medical emergencies through faster and more coordinated intervention. He stressed that effective response during the golden hour requires a highly trained and well-integrated emergency team.

Medical Superintendent Dr Shafat Ahmad Kennu said the strengthened ER infrastructure is expected to improve overall patient outcomes and ensure timely access to life-saving care.

Consultant Dr Yasir Allaqaband said the enhanced system would improve coordination across medical specialties, enabling quicker response to critical cases.

The hospital said the launch marks a significant step in expanding emergency healthcare capacity in the region and reinforces its focus on clinical efficiency and patient-centred care.
