SRINAGAR: A woman employee of the Power Development Department (PDD) died after a bus collided with her Scooty at MH Chowk in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Ishu Sharma, wife of late Sahil Sharma and a resident of Ramnagar, Udhampur. She sustained critical injuries in the accident and was shifted to hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
The Scooty involved in the accident bore registration number JK14G-6073.
Locals and police rushed to the spot following the collision and shifted Sharma to hospital for treatment.
Police have arrested the bus driver and registered a case in connection with the accident.
Further investigation is underway.
