Calling the statement of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as baseless, National Conference’s Provincial President Nasir Sogami said the Omar Abdullah led government has given the best governance in the state and the state is progressing in all spheres of life.
“In the last four years NC led government has empowered the people and given them the right to know and the right to question in the quest to bring transparency and accountability in the system” said Nasir adding “Omar Abdullah led government has created, revived and restored institutions to ensure a better delivery mechanism.”
“RTI and Public Services Guarantee Acts, giving powers to Accountability Commission was aimed to empower the people and provide them an opportunity get their problems redressed in a time bound manner” said the provincial president of NC adding “Omar does what he promises unlike PDP who just try to ignite sentiments for petty political gains”.
Lashing out at PDP he said that their rant is baseless asking them “Does that mean you are one of the impediments in revocation of AFSPA?’ asked Nasir adding “They have the ignominious distinction of slapping PSA on close on around 1300 young boys in their dark rule”
“Its not surprising that PDP would be working overtime to ensure that somehow AFSPA is not revoked” said Nasir adding “People of the state must remain vigilant with the conspiracies of the communal politics of PDP”, “AFSPA is the creation of PDP and people are being punished by the decision taken by Mufti” said Nasir assuring the people that “We are committed to its revocation and will ensure it is done soon since our point is based on Logic” he added
