A pedestrian was injured in a road accident after he was hit by a vehicle in Handwara, said a police spokesperson on Sunday.
“A Sumo bearing registration number JK05B-9117 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Shabir Ahmad Bania resident of Tulwari near Tulwari in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vilgam, Handwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard,” reads the statement.
