Hundreds of people gather in Dadsar village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district to bid adieu to Hizb militant Shahnawaz Ahmad who was killed in an encounter in Tral on July 1, 2013. Shahnawaz’s body was taken around the village before he was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Dadsar village. In Lurgham village, people gathered in large number to pay their last respect to Hizb militant Ajaz Ahmad Bhat who was killed in an encounter with forces in Tral on July 1, 2013. A close friend wails over Ajaz’s body who was killed in a 12 hour long gunfight with army and police in Tral. As Ajaz’s body was taken for burial women in Lurgham raised anit-India and pro-Azadi slogans. In Hayena village, a huge procession carried Hizbal Mujahideen’s district commander, Shabir Ahmad Bhat alias Adil’s body to a local graveyard for burial.
