Police Attaches House Worth Rs 30.16 Lakh Linked to Narcotics Trafficking in South Kashmir 

   

SRINAGAR: Police in south kashmir’s Pulwama district have attached a double-storied residential house valued at approximately Rs 30,16,402 located in Waghama, Bijbehara .

The property belongs to Athar Maqbool, son of Mohd Maqbool Ganie, a resident of Waghama, Bijbehara. It has been seized and attached under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act after investigations revealed that it was illegally acquired through proceeds of narcotics trafficking.

Athar Maqbool is accused in FIR No. 03/2026 under Sections 8/21 of the NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Litter, confirming his involvement in drug-related illegal activities.

The police emphasized their zero-tolerance policy against narcotics, pledging to take strict legal action against individuals involved in drug trafficking and to target properties obtained through illicit means.
