Later in the evening a police spokesperson in a statement confirmed that a case FIR No. 56/2013 under section 364, 302 RPC has been registered in police station Shopian.
It also added that the body of Bilal Ahmad Bhat was recovered from an orchard near village Baskuchan, whose body was later sent for a post mortem at district hospital Shopian. The investigation has been started and one person has been detained by Shopian police.
