SRINAGAR: Police in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has seized five Tractors and one Tipper involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of minor minerals from different areas falling under the jurisdiction of PS Kangan, PS Gund and PP Sonamarg respectively.
The vehicles were found transporting minerals without valid permission and were subsequently seized on the spot by concerned police teams in coordination with the Geology and Mining Department.
Ganderbal Police has reiterated its firm resolve to take strict action against those involved in such unlawful activities.
