SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, upon obtaining an attachment order from the Sub Judge Uri, have seized properties—a total of 30 Kanals and 15 Marlas of land worth crores—belonging to proclaimed offenders who have fled to Pakistan.
As per the police statement, these offenders include Mohd Lateef (18 Kanals and 6 Marlas), Sadar Din (9 Marlas), and Aziz Din (12 Kanals).
This action it said, was carried out under sections of 83 CRPC and is linked to multiple cases, including FIR No. 88/1984 under various acts, FIR No. 13/1987, and FIR No. 116/1996 of PS Uri.
“The identified properties were uncovered during police investigation. This operation underscores the police’s determination to counter terrorist activities,” the police added.
