Police on Wednesday traced a missing man and handed him over to his family in Kunzer area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

In a statement issued here, police spokesperson said: “On June 28, 2018, it was reported to Police Station Kunzer by  Mehmooda wife of Mushtaq Ahmad Reshi resident  of village Gonipora, Kunzer Tangmarg that her husband namely Mushtaq Ahmed Reshi (age about 28  years) has gone missing from his home since June 25, 2018.

“On this missing report was lodged on June 28, 2018, and search of missing individual was started,” the spokesman said.

“Strenuous efforts were made by  Police teams of Police Station Kunzer led by SHO Basharat Ali and the missing person was finally traced today in Chaterhama Srinagar,” he said.

“On preliminary questioning, he revealed he had fallen out with his family on some issue and in frustration left the home without informing anyone,” said police spokesman in a statement.
