SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in parts of Pulwama and Anantnag districts over the next few days to facilitate maintenance of 33 kV transmission lines.
According to KPDCL, power supply to Sangam, Shanglipora and adjoining areas will remain suspended from 8 am to 2 pm on July 30 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Wanganpora–Takanwari line.
In a separate shutdown, electricity supply to Kakapora, Pahoo, Nehama, Newa, Gudoora, Parigam and neighbouring areas will remain affected from 9 am to 1 pm on July 29 and August 1 owing to maintenance work on the 33 kV Pampore–Pulwama line.
KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in view of the scheduled outages.
