SRINAGAR: Power supply to several areas of Shopian district will remain affected on September 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30 due to scheduled shutdowns of two 33 kV transmission lines, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) said on Friday.
According to the KPDCL, power supply to Landoora, Hermain, Hajipora, Hotline Hermain, Hospital, Mantribugh, Chakoora, Wachi, Aglar, Frisal, Mooman and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 am to 3 pm on September 20, 24 and 28 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Lassipora-Landoora line.
Similarly, power supply to Town Arhama, Pinjoora, Kiloora, Imamsahib, Vehil, Nowgam, Reshinagari, Pahnoo, Zawoora, Shirmal, Mahanpora, Chowdrigund, Bemnipora and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 am to 3 pm on September 22, 26 and 30 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Kanipora-Pinjoora line.
The shutdowns have been scheduled as part of maintenance work, KPDCL said.
