According to the order, no individual, digital platform, community representative, organisation, or group is allowed to deliver, publish, or circulate hate speech, objectionable remarks, or irresponsible statements in public or through any media, including print, electronic, or social media platforms.

The order further prohibits any act that promotes violence, hatred, or enmity between communities, religious groups, or social sections. Real-time coverage or live telecast of any activity that may lead to communal tension, public disorder, or misinformation is also banned.

Public meetings, rallies, and processions that may draw crowds will require prior permission from the district administration.

The order is effective immediately and will remain in force for two months unless withdrawn earlier.

The Senior Superintendent of Police has been directed to ensure strict implementation of the order. (JKNS)
