SRINAGAR: The Directorate of SDRF and Civil Defence Kashmir will hold a civil defence mock drill at various locations in Kashmir on Wednesday.
In a statement, a spokesman for the Commandant General of SDRF & Civil Defence said the drill will begin at 4 pm to enhance preparedness for emergencies.
As part of the exercise, sirens will be activated across Kashmir. This practice aims to test emergency response systems.
“We kindly request all members of the public to remain calm and not be alarmed. Your cooperation is essential in making this safety initiative a success,” the statement reads. (GNS)
