Right wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday appointed Ravinder Raina as party’s new state president in the state.

Reports said BJP’s top brass has taken the decision to appoint Raina as its state president.

Raina is an incumbent MLA from Nowshera constituency and has replaced party’s erstwhile state president Sat Sharma, who in a recent cabinet reshuffle in PDP-BJP ruling coalition, after Kathua minor rape and murder incident was inducted into the state cabinet.
