Srinagar

The resistance leaders Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar and Yasin Malik are scheduled to leave for New Delhi on Saturday at 1 pm.

A senior leader told Kashmir Life that the trio will first assemble at octogenarian Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geelani’s Hyderpora residence and then proceed towards Srinagar International airport.

The leaders are scheduled to board a flight to New Delhi where they will protest outside the NIA headquarters.

Kashmir Police Chief, Munir Ahmad Khan when asked whether police will allow the trio to proceed to New Delhi, he told Kashmir Life that there is no question of allowing or not allowing them.

“They have their own work. If they want to go, let them go. If they don’t want, let them not,” he said.

When questioned that Geelani is under house detention, he said, no separatist is under house detention.
