Road accidents: Five persons injured in Kashmir

Srinagar: Five persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley.

According to police spokesman, in Handwara, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01C-2994 hit and injured a minor girl namely Muntaha resident of Punzwa at Vilgam. The injured was shifted to Vilgam Hospital for treatment.

In Budgam, a Sumo bearing registration number JK04A-2569 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Abdul Rashid Khan resident of Gundipora at Gundipora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.

In Bandipora, a motorcycle driven by Ishtiyaq Ahmad Wani resident of Baharabad hit a pedestrian at Khomine Baharabad resulting in injuries to the pedestrian and the motorcyclist. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

In another accident, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a lady namely Fatima resident of Shilwat at Shilwat in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sumbal. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.

Police have registered cases.
