Rozgar Mela: 109 Candidates Receive Appointment Letters at BSF Kashmir Campus

   

SRINAGAR: As part of this 14th tranche of the nationwide recruitment drive, 109 candidates received appointment letters at an employment event under the Government of India at the BSF Kashmir campus in Humhama. These individuals who got the job letters hailed from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Punjab, a BSF spokesman in Srinagar said.

The ceremony was presided over by Dr Virendra Kumar, Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment. He distributed the letters. The event was marked by high enthusiasm, with newly appointed youth expressing their gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Government of India for these opportunities.

Across the country, around 71,000 appointment letters were distributed at 45 locations, highlighting Rozgar Mela’s scale and its focus on employment generation. Ashok Yadav, Inspector General of the BSF Kashmir Frontier, spoke about the importance of collaboration between the BSF and civil society in fostering growth and harmony in sensitive border regions. The Minister reiterated the Prime Minister’s commitment to empowering youth and addressing employment challenges, further solidifying the Rozgar Mela’s role in nation-building.
