After the recent claims of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Saif-ud-din Soz that congress will be the single largest party of the state in the forthcoming polls, National Conference (NC) Saturday claimed that NC will sweep the 2014 assembly elections in the state.
Talking to a local news agency, KNS, NC’s senior leader Ali Mohammad Sagar said that the people of the state bear witness to the fact that the regime of National Conference has benefited the state most and that the people will vote for NC across the state in the next assembly elections. “National Conference will be on number 1st and we have worked hard during the past years to make our party the strongest one in the state.”
Sagar further stated that the Cadre of NC is strong as compared to other parties and that the people of the state have full ‘faith’ in NC’s leadership. “People here identity with us; we have been with them since decades.”
Sagar stated that the masses are well informed that NC has worked for the employment of youth and strengthening of the democratic institutions in the state. “We have worked for development of all the three regions of the state and the response that we are getting from the people confirms our triumph in the coming polls.”
Commenting over the joining of some prominent leaders in congress camp, Sagar said that his party has never forced anyone to leave or to join. “Party men have their own will, we have never forced anyone to join our party neither will we be saddened if any one leaves.”
