The chairman of United Jihad Council (UJC) and Hizb supremo Syed Salah-ud-Din Tuesday strongly condemned unprovoked firing by the army on a vehicle in Chattergam Badgam, as a result of which two young civilians-Faisal Ahmad Bhat and Merajdin Dar got killed and two others seriously injured.

In an emailed statement to KNS Hizb spokesman Saleem Hashmi quoting Salah Ud Din said while addressing a meeting of Hizb command council, the UJC chief appealed the international community and human rights organizations to take serious notice of this act of Indian forces and prevent them  from committing such crimes against people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Terming the incident as ‘defeat and frustration’ of forces Sallahudin said, “Such coward acts of Indian troops will not discourage the people in the way of freedom.”
