SRINAGAR: A young salesman of an old city sho was injured in a case of a targeted attack, reports said.
The young salesman has been identified as Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, a resident of Ashtangu in Bandipore. He was a salesman in a shop at Bohri Kadal, Srinagar.
Reports said Khan was taken to the hospital in a critical condition where he was declared brought dead.
Police issued a statement saying they got information at about 2010 hours and senior officers rushed to the spot.
“Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of law. Investigation is in progress and officers continue to work to establish the circumstances, which lead to this terror crime,” the police statement said. “Area has been cordoned off and search in the area is going on.”
