Strengthening the party cadres in valley in view of the forth coming parliamentary and assembly polls in the state, National Conference (NC) has announced the former mayor of Srinagar municipal Corporation (SMC) Salman Sagar as the provincial president of its youth wing.

The reports received by KNS informed that the party president Omar Abdullah has expressed hope  that the youth cadres will work with utmost sincerity to the strengthen the party base in valley.

Talking to KNS, Salam who is son of senior Natioanl Conference leader and cabinet minister Ali Muhammad Sagar  said that the his top priority would be to strengthen the party at grass rot levels in valley and that to make necessary steps so that the youth here would identify with National Conference. “I express my gratitude to the party leadership here that they have chosen me. I will prioritize to make NC stronger and stable. ”
