SRINAGAR: The search operation to trace and retrieve the body of a nine-year-old boy who reportedly drowned in Madhumati Nalla near District Police Lines (DPL), Bandipora, entered its fifth consecutive day on Monday.
Teams of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) from Bandipora and Battalion Headquarters, Srinagar, continued search efforts to locate Moomin Ahmad, a resident of Ganie Mohalla in Kuloosa, Bandipora.
Moomin reportedly drowned in the waterway on Thursday, September 10, and has remained untraced since the incident.
The SDRF teams have been conducting sustained searches in and around the waterway in an effort to locate and retrieve the boy’s body.
