Seven people died and three others were injured on late last night when a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near Surjandhar area of Reasi district.
Reports said the accident took place when a car bearing registration number JK02H 1515 on way from Surjandhar to Reasi skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Damasgali Bhomag last night, resulting in the death of seven persons and three others sustained serious injuries.
An official said that the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
The bodies were handed over to their relatives after completion of medico-legal formalities, said an official.
