After the latest Bemina Fidayeen attack, producers of ‘Bang Bang’ have decided to kick off production of the Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif headlining film with a schedule in Europe.

Earlier, production of the film was to start with a 45-day schedule in Kashmir in March. Director Siddharth Anand had recently visited the state and scoped out locations near Pahalgam. However, the current unrest especially the Fidayeen attack by militants on CRPF has forced the producers to rethink.

Producers Fox Star Studios had reportedly toyed with the idea of shooting the Kashmir schedule in Punjab, but Siddharth would have none of it as he felt a Kashmir setting was intrinsic to the script.

The plan now is to shoot the Kashmir scenes in December, the hope being that unrest in the valley would subside by then. Siddharth is making a virtue out of a necessity by incorporating snow scenes in the script!

Following the filming in Europe, which was earlier planned for second schedule, the unit will move to Turkey for a short schedule and then wrap with the December schedule in Kashmir.
