Business and other activities Saturday remained affected for due to strike, called by resistance leadership in the Kashmir Valley.

Shops and business establishments remained closed in Srinagar and outskirts, where majority roads remained under snow as authorities had cleared snow on only few main roads.

A very few passenger vehicles were seen plying on the roads due to strike coupled with slippery road conditions. However, some private vehicles were seen struggling to driver due to snow and slippery conditions, particularly in the uptown town and down town.

Work in government offices and banks was affected as some employees could not make it to their offices due to non availability of transport.
