A police spokesman in his statement said that situation remained peaceful across the whole valley barring few incidents of stone pelting from Gojwara Chowk and Pulwama Town in which three policemen were injured and a police vehicle was damaged on Sunday. Police spokesman claimed that Police exercised maximum restraint and dispersed the mobs.
“As a precautionary measure some restrictions were imposed at few places in Srinagar,” police statement said.
