SMVDSB Announces Immediate Transfer of 10 Engineering Staff

   

SRINAGAR: The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has ordered the transfer and re-posting of ten engineering personnel across key operational units, with the changes taking effect immediately as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at improving efficiency.

The order, issued by the Shrine Board’s Chief Executive Officer through Order No. 1348/SB of 2026 dated June 12, affects one Assistant Engineer and nine Junior Engineers posted at various locations along the pilgrimage route and associated institutions.

Under the revised postings, Assistant Engineer (Civil) Moksh has been transferred from the Civil Wing at Bhawan to the Civil Wing in Katra. Junior Engineers Mukesh Musser and Ankush Khajuria have been moved from Adhkuwari to Katra, with Khajuria also assigned responsibility for the Material Ropeway.

Among other transfers, Vishal Sharma has been shifted from Bhawan (Himkoti) to SMVD Gurukul, while Pankaj Sharma has been posted from Katra to Sanjichhat. Harsh Pargal and Susheel Kumar Gupta have been transferred to the Civil Wing at Adhkuwari from Katra (Tarakote) and Katra (Project), respectively.

Kamal Singh has been moved from Sanjichhat to Katra, Varun Gupta from SMVD Gurukul to Bhawan (Himkoti), and Abhimanyu Verma from the Material Ropeway to the Civil Wing at Bhawan.

The order states that all affected officials stand relieved of their previous assignments with immediate effect and are required to assume charge of their new postings without delay.
