Two residential houses collapsed in two different areas of Budgam district after heavy snowfall, reports said on Wednesday.
Snowfall damaged the residential house of one Bashir Ahmad Reshi, a resident of Poshker Khag while as another house of Mujpathri area of Khansahab was also damaged.
“We were sitting inside when our 2 story house collapsed due to heavy snowfall,” Bashir said adding “we had a narrow escape.”
Official sources said that a team is on way to take stock of the situation.
