Light to moderate rainfall shall continue on Thursday as well, officials at state metrology department said.
Speaking to Kashmir Life, the MeT officials said, “weather shall improve from tomorrow, however, light rainfall might be tomorrow as well.”
Rains started late Tuesday evening in Kashmir valley parts.
Temperatures slumped after snow fall on upper reaches including Gulmarg.
Reports from tourist resort of Sonamarg said that snow starting falling last mid-night. “At least six inches of snow has gathered and temperatures have slumped,” a local said.
Following the snowfall on Mughal road, the vehicular movement has been halted on the road connecting Kashmir valley with Pir Panchal region.
