SRINAGAR: Tehsil Social Welfare office located in Dangiwachi area of Sopore was sealed by the authorities on Monday due to the absence of its employees.
The officials have also requested an explanation from the absent staff members.
According to an official statement, ADC Sopore SA Raina conducted an unannounced visit to the office on the same day and discovered that the employees were not present.
The officials have initiated the process of seeking clarifications from the absent employees, who have been temporarily assigned to the Tehsildar Dangiwacha’s office.
The responsibility of conducting an inquiry into this matter and submitting a report within a span of two days has been given to Tehsildar Dangiwacha, as stated by the official.
