Life returned to routine in Sopore and its outskirts on Tuesday the after a three-day shutdown to mourn the killings of three local militants in a gunfight with forces.

Reports said that all shops, business establishments, petrol pumps, government offices and banks reopened today while public transport also plied on roads.

While Boys Degree College and Boys Higher Secondary school Sopore are shut, other educational institutions resumed their class work.

Three militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba were killed in a gunfight with forces on Saturday morning in Amargarh area of Sopore.
