Terming October 27 as a black day in the history of Kashmir, APHC on Friday said that on this day following a well hatched “conspiracy Indian troops landed in Kashmir and enslaved the freedom loving Kashmiris.”

In a statement issued to a local news agency, KNS, APHC said, “Since then Kashmiris are engaged in the freedom struggle and have sacrificed their lives and property for the sacred cause.”

Hence, APHC has appealed people to observe complete strike on Oct 27 to express solidarity with the freedom movement and show their resolve to take the struggle forward till it reaches its logical conclusion.

The conglomerate said the core cause of Indo-Pak tension was Kashmir issue. It said there was no military solution to the K issue except that all the three main stake holders to the dispute sit and start meaningful dialogue to arrive at mutually accepted solutions recognizing the emotions and aspirations of common Kashmiris.

APHC has expressed concern over the discovery of more unmarked graves in Sumbal Sonawari. The party has appealed the international human rights watchdogs to take cognizance of this grave issue.
