Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani has accused government of harassing Muslims in Kishtwar and Jammu province. The conglomerate has called for complete state wide shutdown on August 11.
“After monitoring the situation in Kishtwar and rest of the Jammu province and keeping in view the present position in the town of Kishtwar where strict curfew has been implemented and five hundred military and Para-military personnel have been called from Jammu to control the situation in this small town and people especially those belonging to Muslim Community are being harassed and in view the gross damage to their property also,” and added that “Syed Ali Geelani Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) has called for statewide complete shutdown tomorrow on August 11, 2013 Sunday also.”
