A delegation of Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday visited residences of the two youth who were allegedly killed by army troopers at Markundal, Sumbal in district Bandipora, two days ago, a statement said.

“The delegation, comprised of Ghulam Qadir Lone and advocate Zahid Ali, met the families of the slain youth, Irfan Ahmed Ganai and Tariq Ahmed Leharwal, and expressed complete solidarity with them on behalf of Jama’at-e-Islami J&K,” the statement read.

While speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Qadir Lone and Advocate Zahid Ali condemned in strongest terms the killings as “brazen aggression on Human Rights of Kashmiri people by Indian Army.”

“These incidents are result of Indian occupation and the only way to get rid of the disgraceful life of occupation is freedom from India but that goal of freedom cannot be achieved without the special help of Allah (SWT). And Allah’s help will not come until people adhere to the Principles of Islam and exhibit Islamic character in letter and spirit,” the statement added.
