SRINAGAR: Police on Friday have arrested three persons in connection with a rape case in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The authorities reported that Rohit Kumar and Rohit Saini, both hailing from Arnia in district Jammu, along with Romi Kumar from Samba, were the individuals taken into custody.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh, stated, “Crime against women is being vigorously addressed, and the police are diligently investigating cases involving crimes against women in Samba district.”
He further added, “Individuals accused of serious offences such as rape, molestation, domestic violence, and assault, when substantiated by police investigations, are being apprehended in accordance with the law.”
