Forces on Wednesday afternoon resorted to aerial firing to disperse protesters at Khrew Chowk in Pampore.
Local sources told Kashmir Life that as the news about the killing of three militants spread in the town, youth took to streets and staged protests and clashed with forces.
They said that forces fired in air to disperse the protesters.
Three militants of Zakir Musa group were killed in an encounter at Gulab Bagh Tral earlier today.
Police identified the slain militants as Zahid Ahmed Bhat from Nawdal Tral, Ishfaq Ahmed from Batgund Tral and Ashraf Dar from Trich Pulwama.
