‘Tral Incident a Shameful Act of Custodial Killing’

Terming Tral incident a shameful act of custodial killing besides a fake encounter, National Front Chairman, and Hurriyat (JK) leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan Tuesday said that Kashmiris are being massacred on one or the other pretext only because they want complete freedom from India.

Khan said that the Tral incident has proved that by changing hands in the so-called governance, the atrocities on the subjugated people don’t stop.

“Tragedies started happening in Jammu Kashmir ever since Indian army landed here so the only solution to stop them is that the occupational forces should leave the region,” Khan said in a statement.

He said that Indian army after “assassinating” Khalid Muzzafar “martyred” another youth Mohammad Younis Ganai son of Nissar Ahmad Ganai and staged a drama of recovering his body today only to hush up yesterday’s incident of “fake encounter and custodial killing”.

While expressing solidarity with the parents of Khalid and Younis, Khan said that their pain cannot even be imagined. “But sacrifices of their families won’t be allowed to go waste,” he said.

“The holy blood of martyrs not only demands continuous resistance movement, but also putting extra force into it.”

Khan condemned the use of force on the protesters in Tral and said: “Men in uniform have spread a reign of terror in Kashmir. They do not even allow us to mourn.”
